ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
We're saved. We're Christians. We don't really go by any other name because The Lord Jesus Christ is the only name that matters. We're Bible-believers. We're a family. We're trying to keep it simple, keep it according to the Scriptures, as we endeavor to grow together in the knowledge of our wonderful Saviour.
WHY WE ARE HERE
We're here to hold forth the word of life. We're here to be a light to a lost and dying world, spreading the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to our neighbors and beyond. We're here to make disciples, to perfect other believers, to edify Christ's church. We're here to be a lighthouse where Christians can learn God's word and be conformed to the image of Him who called them out of darkness into his marvelous light.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
We study God's word together. We pray for one another. We sing the old hymns. We preach on the street. We get outside our comfort zone to give the gospel to those around us. We disciple and train soldiers of the cross. We fellowship. We laugh, we cry, we do our best to stay knit together in love for the Lord Jesus Christ.
STUDY THE BIBLE WITH US
God commands believers to "Study" the Bible "to shew thyself approved unto God" (2 Timothy 2:15). How do you know you're thinking right? Living right? Making the right decisions if you don't really understand "all the counsel of God" (Acts 20:27)? Why don't you heed the Lord's command and come study the Bible with us? You'll be eternally glad you took the time to study God's word!
