Prayer for anyone Struggling, Comfort for everyone Hurting

Today is “International Overdose Awareness Day.” In 2025 alone, over 1500 lives were lost due to drug overdose in our state of New Jersey. Souls stepped into eternity, families were fractured, and the loss remains incalculable.

Today is a sobering reminder to pray for anyone who may be struggling with addiction, that these people who are all around us might find hope in the victory Jesus Christ can give.

Today is also a good time to pray for God’s comfort on the many who still mourn the loss of those who have passed, that His mercy and grace might be very near and dear to everyone affected by these tragedies.
