Pray for the Johnson Family

Our maintenance man, Jerry Johnson (on the prayer list for kidney failure) passed away this morning. Praying for comfort for his (saved) sister, Glory, and his wife, Evelyn's salvation.

Jerry’s demeanor last week before he passed away yesterday morning, was completely open and inviting to hearing and reading the Bible verses and praying. Cliff gave him the Gospel clearly. He also asked Cliff to pray before we left each time we visited. He said "keep those prayers going", or something similar.

The last card we gave him with a KJV Bible verse, he didn't just read it, he held it, and examined it carefully, along with the tracts we gave him. So it was very promising that he truly accepted Christ as he said "yes" to us. Although he wished to come home, he may have known his time was near. He held our hands too, before we left, a goodbye memory before passing into eternity.
