Pray for Church Tomorrow

We pray for many things, and rightfully so. In discussing prayer, the Lord told His people to "be careful for nothing" (Phil 4:6).

But what if we prayed for church as earnestly and consistently as we pray for other things? How much more might God move if we prayed? What could we see God do for His glory if we cared enough to humble ourselves and pray for church?

So, as we head into our last Sunday of 2025, I challenge you, dear church, to pray for our time together tomorrow. Pray for hungry souls to gather around God's word and be fed good doctrine. Pray for music and singing that will worship our God in spirit and in truth. Pray for teachers and little ones who listen to lessons about the lovely Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for sinners who walk through our doors lost to leave our assembly washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. Pray for saints to shake off their guilty fears or lazy habits and "come together" like the Bible commands believers to. Pray we can all get a little closer to the Saviour who called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light tomorrow.

In other words, pray for church tomorrow.
